Simon blinked, a little taken off by the question. He gasped, and pounded his fist on the table. "How dare you make such an accusation of me! I thought it was an article, that's all! The better question is why were you having sex with your professor, and allowing it to be taped!? Have you no decency, woman!?" He tried to keep the pressure off of him and onto Ginette as best he could.
Celine stood up and gave both of them a look. "That's enough, you two!" She screamed it so loudly, even Simon was taken back and sat down in shock. Celine rarely ever screamed, so she must be upset. Celine was taken back by her screaming, and sighed. "Sorry about that." She looked at Ginette, the anger fading and the sadness coming back, her eyes red from crying. "Is this the only man you've had sex with?"

Tom blinked gratefully at Celine. If she hadn't intervened, he probably would have soon.
Ginette bit her lip. She was on the verge of tears. "No," she said softly. She swallowed. "I think it's time for me to leave." She stood up and started for the door. She glared back at Simon, muttering, "I hate you."
Tom hesitated, but made no move to stop her. Now was not the time. He didn't want to make things worse.

Simon glared right back at Ginette. At least now all of the attention was focused on her, and nobody was thinking about what he had and has done. He quietly sat back down at the table, and continued to eat his dinner as if nothing had happened. "This pot roast is delicious, Mom." He smiled, and tried to get her happy again.
Celine ignored Simon, and walked over to Ginette, gently taking her by the shoulder. She was truly concerned for her daughter's well-being. Who were these men, were they other professors? Why would she have sex with other men out of marriage? Was she using protection? These were questions on everybody's mind, especially Celine's. "No, Ginette, you should stay and we need to talk about this. This is a serious issue that can affect all of us. Who were the other men?"

Tom sighed. He was very stressed out by now.
Ginette shook her head. She didn't want to talk about this. "I-"
But before she could say anything, Lucas came barging in with his 12-year-old son Riley behind him. "Hey guys!" she exclaimed. "What's up?"
Riley grinned and waved. "Hi!"

Simon blinked as Lucas came in. This was a pretty akward time to come in with your 12 year old, in the situation that was happening now. He hoped that he could keep Lucas and Riley from knowing about the drama with Ginette, and the drama with himself if it got out. "Heya, Lucas and Riley! What brings you here today?"
Celine rubbed her red eyes a little then looked at Lucas and Riley, and gave a weak smile. "Hello, Lucas and Riley."

Tom looked up and smiled slightly at his friend. "Hi."
Ginette turned away and rubbed her eyes.
"Oh, I just thought I'd drop in and say hello," Lucas said. "How's it going?"
Tom shrugged. "Fine."

Celine sighed, as she looked at Lucas and Riley. They were like family to her(even if Lucas had almost drowned her with his faulty boat), but Lucas had the worst timing. She didn't want to seem rude, but she really had to talk to Ginette about this mess. It was killing her inside to think that her daughter was making these horrible mistakes. "Lucas, Riley, as glad as I am to see you, I have to go into the other room with Ginette for a bit and talk something over. Tom, Simon, make Lucas and Riley feel at home." Celine tugged at Ginette's sleeve for her to follow, and Celine started walking into the library
Simon laughed nervously as Celine started to walk out. This was certainly an akward scene, Lucas and Riley walking in on an intense right. "So, guys, how has it been going? I heard that Olesya has been doing well....."

Ginette suppressed a sigh. There was no way around it now. She could see no way to delay the inevitable. Not in front of Lucas and Riley. She grudgingly followed her mother into the library.
"Yes, she has," Lucas said happily. "We're all doing fine." He frowned slightly. "Except for maybe Tino. He's a bit too independent for his own good.
Lucas gave him a weak smile. "I know what you mean."
Riley shrugged. "I think he's just crazy."
