tony walked into the kitchen, setting his empty can on the counter top, before looking at his twin sister, anne marie, who was sitting on the counter top. he was afraid to ask how long she had been there, but he knew that she most likely would of said the same stuff to annabella. out of everyone in the family, tony was the closest to anne marie, just because she was the only one who understood him, and because she was the only one who took time out of her day to actually have a decent conversation with him. "wow, you sure made her mad," anne marie said, a smirk crawling on her face as she looked at her younger brother by 2 minutes.
letting a soft chuckle out, tony ran a hand through his hair, staring down at the ground. "heh, yeah.."

Kaylaya silently walked toward the kitchen. She stopped in the doorway and looked at her siblings. She felt a pang of loneliness when she saw the way they seemed so at ease with each other. She tried to think of the last time someone had made her chuckle. Coming up blank, the blonde averted her eyes and turned around. As she walked into the living room, she couldn't help but think Annabella was wrong. There was no one for her.

no one in the house usually understood what the twins ever went through. their father always assumed that tony was always bullied when he was a kid at school, and he thought that anne marie was the kid doing the bullying. when really, tony never got bullied - no one talked to him at school ususally. and anne marie never bullied anyone, she just got into the wrong crowd in high school. no one ever asked them how their day was, what they learned at school, or how their friends were doing. they both assumed that no one cared, so they just blocked everyone else out. all they really needed was each other, since they were the only ones who understood.
anne marie let out a small sigh as she looked at her twin brother. everyone misunderstood him, and she hated it. they assumed that he was a huge jerk, when he was quite the opposite of that. he just hated how people assumed things and thought that they were right, when they were clearly wrong. "don't worry about it, tony," anne marie said, giving her brother a small smile. "we don't need them. they've never helped us anyone." tony nodded, but then looked up when he saw kaylaya at the door. he bit his lip and looked down, while anne marie shot her a glare.
after she walked out, anne marie looked back at her brother, knowing that he felt somewhat guilty for what he said. "don't feel guilty, tony. you were right. i'll just do the talking the next time it comes.."

Kaylaya sat down on the couch and looked down at the guitar. She looked at the TV and then back at the guitar. For a moment she considered how fun it would be to smash the TV with the guitar. Realizing it wouldn't really help her case, she sighed and looked away from the guitar. She couldn't understand why Anne Marie and Tony had to hate her so much. Annabella was one thing. She had no idea what she was doing. No idea how she was just pushing everyone further away.
The blonde looked around with her distant green eyes. She thought back to talking with Connor. Talking with him gave her a feeling she'd never known. It was thrilling and scary at the same time. No matter how refreshing it seemed, she still knew better than to trust anybody. Nobody really wanted her. And if anyone acted like it? Then she could only assume it was all a lie.
