Randy McCartney walked out of the school. As usual, his guitar was strapped to his back. He didn't often go anywhere without it. He'd been obsessed for several years. He absolutely loved playing guitar as well as singing. It was in his blood. After all, both his parents were singers.
After finding a nice shaded spot under tree in the grass, Randy sat down. He pulled of his guitar and set it in his lap. He intently leaned over his guitar and started playing a few cords. A smile appeared on his lips and he nodded as he continued playing.

i've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, so afraid to tell the world dylan slowly pushed open the school door with her right shoulder, making sure it didn't hit her guitar that was hanging on her back in it's black case. squinting her eyes instantly as she was greeted by the bright sun, dylan adjusted her blue 'the beatles' bag that was hanging over her shoulder as she watched people pass by her, before letting out a small sigh and making her way down the front stairs, trying her best not to trip and fall and make a complete fool out of herself. dylan was the clumsy type of girl, like most people knew. she would always fall, trip, slip, and well, just plain break things. her parents, or anyone else for that matter, never bought her anything breakable for obvious reasons.
humming quietly to herself, dylan slowly walked passed a few trees, before instantly stopping when she heard a guitar being played. her hazel eyes gazed around for the source of the guitar. her eyes soon landed on a guy underneath a tree. a smirk slowly formed on her face as she slowly adjusted her bag that was on her shoulder, slowly walking towards the guy under the tree. dylan slowly crossed her arms, before a smile formed on her face. "hey.." dylan said, pushing her hair out of her face. "you're pretty good at playing the guitar."
what i've got to say oh hai there, shelly. i was uber bored, so i decided to reply. see that girl up there? yeah, that's dylan jonas, who is currently looking like a complete rockstar. the banner was made by the amazing HAY ALISON?! at caution. and now, all i gotta say is i was bored, so i decided to reply =P

Randy looked up when he heard someone speak to him. He smiled at the girl and nodded at her compliment. "Thanks," he replied with a smirk. It wasn't anything new to him, after all he not that he had a big head or anything.

i've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, so afraid to tell the world dylan nodded slowly, slipping her fingertips into her dark grey jeans, flipping her hair out of her face. "no problem," dylan said with a small smile on her face. she slowly walked closer to him, gazing down at his guitar. "how long have you been playing for?"

Randy chuckled in response to the girl's question. "Um..I don't know...Since I was like either or something probably...My dad taught me one day and I've been obsessed since." he replied with a shrug and a smirk. "It's in my blood after all with two musicians as parents..."

i've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, so afraid to tell the world dylan nodded slowly as she listened to the boy. "interesting. i started to play when i was around seven. i just started to play with my mom's old guitar, then she started to teach me, and i've been playing ever since." she smiled slightly, bringing her hand out of her pocket to brush her bangs out of her face as she looked down at the boy, trying to think of his name. she smirked. "oh yeah, that's right. you're randy mccartney, right, son of jesse mccartney and aj michalka?" she asked, a smirk on her face. "i'm dylan jonas." she smiled slightly, before looking at the ground then back up at randy. "mind if i join you?"

Randy smiled softly as he curiously listened to the girl. He nodded when she asked if he was Randy. "Yep that's me," he studied the girl. "Ah, I knew you looked familiar," he said with a smirk when she introduced herself. He smiled and nodded at Dylan when she asked if he could join him. "Be my guest," he replied.

i've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, so afraid to tell the world dylan smirked and nodded slowly. "yeah, i thought that was you. i've seen you around the school a few times and at some of those boring events." she noddded, before her eyes quickly widened. "not that i was like, stalking you then or anything. because i wasn't, i was just.." she coughed slightly, brushing her hair out of her face, before nodding again. dylan took her guitar off of her back, before sitting down beside randy, setting her guitar down beside her. she looked up at randy, before down at his guitar. "it's pretty nice. my dad has one like that. it has a good sound." dylan looked up at randy and smiled.

Randy chuckled when Dylan commented about seeing him and then reassuring him he wasn't stalking him. He smirked softly. The blonde smiled and nodded in response to Dylan's comments about his guitar. "Yeah, it does," he agreed with a smirk. He looked at her and smiled. He couldn't help but notice she was even prettier up close.

i've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, so afraid to tell the world dylan softly stroked the strings of her guitar that was beside her as she looked up at randy, nodding slowly. she frowned slightly. "well, at least my dad's did have a good sound." dylan chuckled softly as she looked up at randy. "i'm a very clumsy person and i kinda broke the strings on it." she smirked slightly, brushing her hair out of her face. "he wasn't too impressed about that."

Randy laughed when Dylan told him how she broke her dad's guitar strings. "Oh wow, real smooth," he said teasingly and chuckled at her. "Just don't touch my guitar then..." he added with a smirk.

i've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, so afraid to tell the world dylan couldn't help but roll her eyes playfully at randy's comment as she took her hand away from her guitar. "Just don't touch my guitar then..." dylan did a dramatic gasp as she looked up at randy. "ouch, that's totally mean. besides, it was a complete accident." she smirked.

Randy smirked at Dylan's reaction. "Sure..." he replied with a chuckle. "How exactly did you break the strings?" he asked her, an eyebrow raised as he looked over at her.

i've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, so afraid to tell the world dylan couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle as randy asked her what happend. she looked up at randy and smirked, before giving a small shrug. dylan quickly brushed her hair out of her face, trying to put her thoughts together in her head. "it was my dad's birthday and i thought that i would change his strings for him, since they were getting pretty old. so i went out and bought him the strings, then i went to change them, but that's when i realized that i bought the wrong type. but, it was way too late to go back to the store and exchange them, so i thought that i would just put them on then buy new ones the next day." dylan paused, brushing her hair out of her face once again. "so i gave my dad is present, and luckly he didn't play it then. so then after dinner, i was suppose to show my family this new song that i wrote, and i completely forgot that i changed the strings on his guitar, so i ended up playing the new song song on his guitar and i broke the strings on it within the first..i don't know, 20 seconds?" she chuckled softly, looking up at randy. "he wasn't mad or anything, since it really didn't matter cause they were the wrong strings, he just wasn't impressed that i was actually stupid to play the song on there and that i actually bought the wrong strings, when i've bought strings for that guitar several times before..."

Randy couldn't help but chuckle when Dylan finished her story. "I see," he replied with a smirk. "Real smooth." He shook his head. "Although at least you didn't ruin the guitar," he pointed out.
