cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you, you're gonna believe them. "I just don't understand some boys. Like, one time he's like 'Oh, hey there Bri.' then the next he's like 'Ew who are you?' and whatever. Like, I'm dead serious, Mom!" sixteen year old Brienne Leigh Jameson exclaimed to her mother. Brienne was having "boy issues" and didn't understand why the guy she liked talked to her once, but then when he was around his friends, it's like he didn't even know who she was, Bri hated that.
Brooke sighed at her daughter. "Bri, I think you're being waaaayyyy over dramatic." she implied, her hand on her hip, looking at her daughter. "Trust me, no guy would ever say 'Ew' to you, hun." she added, a small smirk on her face.
Bri rolled her eyes, "Whatever, mom. You just don't understand. You're old." she said, before walking out of the store. Although, Brienne knew that she could be overdramatic at times. Her mom always told her that she should be in drama class, but that wasn't Bri's thing. Bri was a cheerleader, like her mom. She was very peppy and loved cheering people on. Drama Club? No way. Cheerleading? Oh yeah. She held a few bags as they walked through the mall, having another mother-daughter kind of day.

nate walked through the mall, his black cell phone pressed to his ear. "no, no. it's under the flower pot by the door. yes, i am a man, thank you very much. the flower pot is my daughters, it just needs to be watered. hey, when you get inside do you actually want to water it for me?" nate couldn't help but smirk as he talked to his sister. she was moving in with him for a bit, until things settled down at her home, if they ever did settle down. nate offered to go and punch his brother in law, but blaire didn't like that idea. "are the kids staying with him, or are some gonna come stay with you? as much as i love my nephews and nieces, i don't think brianne or malese would want someone else sleeping in their rooms.." when nate bought his house, he had to make sure he had at least enough bedrooms for his daughters. having two daughters from different mothers was always hard on him, seeing as he couldn't be with both of them at the same time. one week, he would have brienne and the next week he would have malese, and seeing as his two daughters didn't like each other made it 10 times worse then it already was.
spotting brooke and one of his daughters, brienne, nate couldn't help but smile. "listen, b. i'm gonna go, so i'll see you when i get home." he closed his phone, before walking over to brooke and brienne, a grin forming on his face. "hey you two."

cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you, you're gonna believe them. "I'm not old...I'm not even forty yet so DON'T get that started again..." Brooke blinked. "I'm only 38, thank you very much..." She said. Okay, so she wasn't that far from forty, but at least she hadn't hit the milestone yet.
"Oh, please. You become old once you hit 27, and you hit that a loooonnnng time ago !" Bri said with a smirk. She looked down at the ground, then looked up, and saw someone standing there. 'hey you two.' she heard. She instantly smiled, it was Nate Jameson, her dad. Y'know, the one who cheated on Bri's mom with Carson and got her pregnant while brooke and nate already had a kid...yeah, him. But even through all that, Bri tried not to think about that stuff when she was with her dad, it just made her hurt. When she was with her dad, she blocked out the rest of the world. She really loved her dad, even through everything he's put her and her mother through. Bri smiled up at her dad, "Hey daddy!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms(full of bags, might i add) around her fathers neck, engulfing him in a hug.
Brooke looked over at her daughter and Nate, a small smile on her face. She still loved him, she really did, but she couldn't trust him around Carson, and it was hard to trust him, especially since they have a daughter, and he does see them, too. Brooke and Nate have had on&&off relationships, but Brooke really wants a serious relationship...She let out a small sigh and tried not to think about it. She smiled at Nate, "Hey, Nate," she said, pushing some hair out of her face.

nate couldn't help but smile as he daughter hugged him, ignoring the several bags aswell. she was definitely like her mother in that department - always shopping. "hey sweetie," nate said to brienne, the huge grin still plastered onto his face as he returned his daughters hug. he kissed her ontop of the head, before stepping out of the hug. nate looked down at her shopping bags. "how's my almighty shopper doing today?" he asked, a smirk forming on his face, taking the place of the grin. "score any deals?"
turning his attention to his on and off girlfriend, brooke, nate smiled. they never seemed to have a decent relationship since the day he hooked up with carson. he wasn't too happy about it, but at the same time he was, because he gainedanother daughter out of it, one that he loved. "hey, brooke. how've you been lately?" nate didn't rememeber the last time he had seen her. it must of beenat least two weeks ago when he dropped brienne off, or around that time. brienne and brooke bother u sually kept their distance when it was malese's turn to be at nate's house.

cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you, you're gonna believe them. Bri smiled as her father hugged her back then kissd her forehead. She really did love her father, but it was really hard when she knew that he had another daughter that he probably did the same thing with. Not that she was acting like, spoiled or anything...but she just, didn't like the idea that some chick that she hated was getting hugs from her father. Bri grinned as he brought up shopping. Shopping was Bri's favorite pass-time. "She's doing great," Bri said, talking about herself in third person, "And of course she did!" She smiled.
Brooke smiled at Nate, "I've been pretty good. Just helping Bri with her 'boy problems'." Brooke did air quotes as she said boy problems. She smirked, looking at her daughter who frowned slightly. Bri didn't ever like being talked about, even if she knew everything they were saying. And she didn't have boy problems, she was just...confused...there's a difference. "What about you?" Brooke asked Nate, tilting her head to the side slightly in curiousity.

name one thing that nate jamesone hated. no doubt about it, it had to be shopping. he absolutely hated shopping, especially with girls, like his younger sister for example. shopping just completely bugged him. but, he would never pass up the chance to go shopping with his daughters, like brienne, since he wanted to spend every chance he could with her. nate smirked as he listened to bri talk in third person, like he did sometimes. "well, that's good."
nate looked over at brooke. he couldn't help but smirk at her mentioning bri's 'boy problems'. when brienne would stay with him, he would try his best to help her out with them, although his advice wasn't usually the best, so he would end up calling blaire for advice from her so he could tell brienne. "i've been...busy.."

cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you, you're gonna believe them. Bri smiled at her dad, "Yup, it is," she said. Bri knew that her dad hated shopping with a passion, but she never said anything. When she wanted to go shopping, they went shopping, even though he hated it....Bri couldn't figure out why though. She thought if you didn't like something, you stayed far away from it. Like what Bri did with Malese.
Brooke nodded slowly. She figured she knew what 'busy' meant. It probably had something to do with the fact that he had two daughters from different mothers. That's probably what he was 'busy' with. But, she wasn't supposed to be thinking about them right now. Now it was just them, no bxtches in sight. Brooke smiled slightly at Nate, "Oh..." she said, the only thing she could think to say. "So, what are you doing here, at the mall? You hate shopping..." Brooke asked out of curiosity.

nate ran a hand through his hair, knowing that he should of probably made a lie on what he had been up to lately like he usually did. but really, he was tired of pretending that carson and malese didn't exsist around brienne and brooke, and vice versa. it had been sixteen years, and they just really had to get over it. "So, what are you doing here, at the mall? You hate shopping..." nate shrugged. "i just had to come pick some stuff up for my sister - she's gonna be living with me for awhile.."
