a rather small brunette could currently be found bouncing around her room. okay, so not bouncing exactly. but she was dancing, for no apparent reason. just out of boredom and a sudden adrenaline rush. her stereo was blasting some old CD of her best friend's father's singing group. the music wasn't really her taste. but it was fun to dance too. laney henrie, collapsed onto her bed. out of breath from hopping around her room. and she knew that if she didn't stop soon that her mother would come up and wonder what was going on. standing up, laney walked over to the radio and turned it off. the instant silence, contrasted greatly from her blasting music. shrugging, the sixteen year old walked back over to her bed.
she sat down on it and grabbed a random magazine off her night stand. not really taking anything in that were printed on the pages before her. laney was off in her own little world, as usual. she was currently waiting, and that was extremely hard for her. considering how impatient she was. humming to herself, the slender brunette grabbed a pillow off of her bed and threw it in the air. trying to catch it before it hit her face. however, her reflexes were too late and the pillow hit her in the face. "not a good idea.." she mumbled, quietly to herself. she seemed to injure herself alot. considering how clumsy she was. she could trip over anything, which made people give her weird looks alot. but she didn't care. she just laughed about it, afterwards.
laying back on her bed, laney lifted her legs up, examining a scratch that was on one of her legs. she had fallen while attempting to rollerblade the other day. but she had soon discovered that rollerblades and herself did not mix very well at all. that was like mixing oil and water. except that might be safer. laney tended to be impatient, and tonight was no exception. she was waiting for her best friend, dylan jonas to come over. they were having another of their thousands of sleepovers tonight. dylan was her best friend ever, and she kind of found it ironic. since their mother's had been best friends. she was pretty good friends with dylan's twin brother connor too. but he could get annoying at times. since he was just as immature as she was. she had grown up with dylan, and had shared everything with her. every secret, everything.
sitting up and then laying back down, laney sighed. she was bored, and she despised being bored. she repeated this process for a few more minutes before finally getting up off her bed. she walked over to the bowl of popcorn that she made and ate a few pieces. most people knew better than to give her candy. so she had settled on popcorn. knowing that her father probably wouldn't approve of two hyperactive teenage girl's fueled on candy staying up all night and bouncing off the walls. psh, like they wouldn't do that anyway. laney skipped back over to her bed and sat down. brushing her dark brown bangs out of her eyes. she had attempted to keep it out of her face by pulling it into a low loose ponytail. but so far it had not done any good. tag;; SKYE. song;; two worlds collide- demi lovato. outfit;; clicky.[/size]

dylan frantically ran around her room, trying to hurry so she could get to her best friends house. she had a black beatles bag on her bed, which she was currently using to shove clothes and other things into, along with a package of sour patch kids. dylan always tried her best to sneak candy over to her best friends house, since their parents never usually allowed them to have candy, seeing as how hyper they already were all the time, the candy just made it worse - much worse. she ran over to her closet, almost tripping over a pair of shoes that she had lying on her carpeted floor, but she caught her balance just before she fell to the ground. she straightened out her shirt, before opening her closet door and walking into it. she grabbed a white, plastic bag - which was her candy stash - before running over to her bed. she emptied the contents out onto her bed, which included several packages of fuzzy peaches, sour patch kids, key rings, and sour worms. she tapped her chin with her index finger, before deciding to bring a package of key rings and sour patch kids. she shoved two bags of each into her beatles bag, before grabbing the other bags of candy and putting them back in the white, plastic bag, running back and putting it in her closet.
dylan slung her beatles bag over her shoulder, before running out of her room. "MOM!" dylan shouted at the top of her lungs as she ran towards the stairs. "I'M READY! LET'S GO!" dylan ran down the stairs, tripping down the last few. she fell to the hardwood floors, before instantly standing up. "MOM!" she shouted again, wanting to go already. her mother, demi lovato, walked out of the living room and towards the her daughter. "okay, okay. i'm coming." dylan slipped her shoes on, then opened the front door. 'hurry, mom! we don't got all night!" she ran out the door, leaving it wide open, and ran over to her moms car. completely forgetting to say goodbye to her brother and her father, dylan stopped running and turned around to look a the door that was still wide open. "bye dad ! bye connor !" dylan shouted, not knowing if her father or brother would hear her. she ran to the passenger side door and got in and quickly put on her seatbelt. dylan leaned over in her seat and pressed the car horn a few times, even though her mother was right outside the car. dylan sat up straight and gave her mother a big, innocent grin as she got into the car.
around ten minutes later, dylan had finally arrived at her best friends house. "bye mom," dylan quickly said, before opening the car door and getting out. she shut it and ran up to the front door. not bothering to knock or ring the door bell, dylan just opened it and walked right in, which was what she usually did. "i'm home!" she shouted, a huge grin on her face.

laney jumped up when she heard a car pull up to the front of her house. she smiled and ran over to the window, almost running into the wall. she steadied herself, and looked outside to see who it was. she began jumping up and down when she saw that it was demi's car. "wooo." she exclaimed. as the small brunette lunged for her bedroom door. she had it open in a millisecond and ran down the hallway to the stairs. however her pajama pants were a little too long and she went tumbling down the staircase. landing flat on her back. her mother who was in the kitchen cooking, gave her daughter a weird look. before shaking her head. however laney giggled at this as dylan walked in through the door.
"mom! dad! dylan's here!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, to inform her parents. even though they were both probably in the kitchen. laney jumped up, straightening her tank top and ran over to dylan. practically tackling her with a hug. "took you long enough." she shouted, jokingly. when in reality it had only been like 10 minutes since she texted her best friend asking if she wanted to come over. although dylan was here pretty much all the time. either they were both at laney's or over at dylan's house.

name one time that laney and dylan weren't together. that's right, they were never not together. they spent every hour together basically. they were in all of the same classes, they always hung out after school and on weekends, and they always had sleepovers. one week it dylan would be at laney's house, then the next laney would be at her house. she was practically dylan's sister, and most people thought that they actually were related somehow, seeing the amount of time they were with each other. dylan always found it funny though. her mother and laney's mother were best friends - they still were to this day, might i add - and laney and dylan were best friends as well. they sometimes would have mother - daughter days together, although their parents would usually embarrass the heck out of them.
dylan shut the front door behind her and laughed when she saw laney fall down the stairs. clumsy laney. she laughed for a few more seconds. she returned the hug that almost knocked her off her feet, before giggling as she stepped out of it. "sorry. my mom couldn't drive here fast enough. i was almost ready to step on the gas for her." she smirked. dylan looked over in the kitchen and waved at selena. "hi mom!" dylan started to call selena mom when she was around 8. besides, her and david were like her second parents.

laney laughed as she stepped out of the hug, she really had to stop being so clumsy. falling down the stairs and almost knocking someone off of their feet wasn't really a good thing. no matter who funny other people thought they were. but it was natural for laney, she never expected anything less. since pretty much every morning before school she managed to run into a wall, or get buried in clothes in her closet. good thing dylan tried to help her out. although she was almost just as clumsy as laney herself was. sometimes people sweared up and down that if they were left alone together in a house for a few hours. they would have broken everything by tripping over them.
selena laughed as dylan called hi mom. "hiya dylan." she called, going back to cooking. she still foudn that pretty funny how both dylan and laney called both her and demi mom. well demi was the godmother of laney, so it only made sense. although out in public it did confuse people. but it was really hilarious in her opinion. laney began jumping up and down, tugging on dylan's arm. "come on let's go up to my room. i've got popcorn!" she exclaimed. runnign towards the unsafe staircase. well everything was unsafe around laney.

the one thing that laney and dylan did the most when they were around each other? uhm, destroyed things by falling into them. yeah, that sounds pretty much like them. they tripped, slipped, stumbled, and the whole 'it came out of nowhere' excuse that dylan seemed to use a lot. their parents would usually hide the breakable things when they were around each other. demi even made them eat off paper plates cause she was nervous that they were gonna drop the plates or something like that. well, you couldn't really blame her, seeing as dylan dropped the paper plate when she got it. she swore that her mother had video camera's hidden around the house sometimes. when dylan was alone with her brother, and if a vase 'came out of nowhere' and dylan broke it, her mother and father would come home and instantly know what was broken, how bad it was broken, and who broke it. then again, connor wasn't as clumsy as dylan was.
dylan always loved to confuse people at times. the best time was when dylan and laney switched moms for the day at the mall, calling them mom and everything. the news paper next day questioned if dylan was really demi's daughter and if laney was really selena's. dylan had a huge laugh attack after that. dylan watched her best friend jump up and down while tugging on her arm, before giggling. same old laney. she gasped. "popcorn?" she grinned. dylan absolutely loved popcorn. she giggled, before running behind laney, making sure her beatles bag didn't knock anything over.
