I don't know about where you guys live, but it's literally freezing up here in Minnesota. We've been in the negatives for over 24 hours. The wind chill was -38 this morning. Many schools in MN were closed. Mine wasn't because we didn't get the -40 wind chill cut off by two degrees. It hasn't been this cold in five years. This isn't just a Minnesota thing. Look around the country. It's snowing in places it's never snowed before and it's freezing everywhere. There are record colds being hit all across the country! And, of course, this is all do to "global warming." Please. I don't know how anyone can look around and honestly say we're warming. we've been getting colder for 10 years for goodness sake! The freezing temperatures of late must prove that! I only WISH it were warming. It's much healthier than going into another Ice Age, like we are now. I can't take this cold anymore. >.> Wake up America indeed!

The wind chill was -38 this morning. that's nothing compared to what it was last year for us. it was -55 with wind chill, which is extremely cold. i said that if you spit into the wind, then it would be frozen by the time it got back to you
it's actually not that cold here, which is extremely surprising since it's always around -30 for us in the winter. and that's like, warm for us compared to what it can get up to here. just wait 'till april though there's always a freak blizzard that happens in the middle of april. last year, are band trip got cancelled cause of the bad roads. and when i went to social class, there was only two people in it, and my teacher never showed

That's crazy. One question though. Are you talking about Celsius or Fahrenheit? That makes a difference when comparing. I don't know why the U.S. just can't switch to the metric system. It's so much easier.

Weeeellll, the lowest here's only been like, 27 degrees. but that's like, super low for texas anyway. it got up to 85 the other day, it was absolutely horrible though. you can call me "lucky" but i'm no where near that. it's freezing here at my standards.

Almost all of our winter has been below normal. It's supposed to get to 30 this weekend, which will be a miracle even for a regular MN January... I looked it up and 115 is the hottest it's ever gotten in MN. Man I wish it could be like that still >.< That was like in the 1930's or something. And the records for the hottest days for each month are insane. All of the dates are in the first half of the 1900's. Gah. 74 degrees is our highest december temp. MAN I WANTA A 74 DEGREE DAY IN DECEMBER. hehe. I just wish we weren't going into a stupid ice age >.< single digits w/ around -10 wind chill is our normal for January. So this is insane...
