a rather short blonde crept quietly into the empty theater. looking around, alarmingly. good. no one was here. she was bored and once again skipping class. she was a rebel, a skeptic, critic, whatever you wanted to call her. or that's how it seemed to people who didn't really know her. ask anyone who laci nichole osment was and they would tell you that she's that bad ass little blonde who knew how to take someone down. too some she was a bully, with her constant insults.
laci came off as a tomboy but that was certainly not the case. you couldn't get much more girly than her actually. with a small smile the blonde hopped up on the stage and sat down on the edge. setting her black guitar case down beside her. she usually left it in here. since not many people ventured into the theater. area, the sixteen year old removed her guitar and placed it in her lap. not a lot of people knew that she could play guitar and very well on top of that. they just figured that her voice was edited in the studio and that people wrote and played the guitar in her songs for her. but that's not the case.
she wrote every one of her songs herself and she had learned how to play the guitar at the tender age of three. laci just loved it and it came naturally to her. she didn't care about the fame, or the fortune. just her music. that's all she cared about. she strummed a few chords and hummed. this was how she expressed herself, through songs and music. making melodies, and thinking up lyrics.
"she's beautiful in her simple little way she don't have too much to say when she gets mad she understands she don't let go of anything even when the pain gets really bad guess i should've been more like that
you had it all for a pretty little while and some how you made me smile when i was sad you took a chance on a bruised and beaten heart then you realized you wanted what you had i guess i should've been more like that
i should have held on to my pride i should have never let you lie i guess you got what you deserved i guess i should've been more like her
forgiving you, she's stronger than i am you don't look much like a man from where I'm at it's plain to see desperation showed it's truth you love her and she loves you with all she has i guess i should've been more like that
i should have held on to my pride i should have never let you lie i guess you got what you deserved i guess I should've been more like her
she's beautiful in her simple, little way..."
she finished softly, with one last strum.

I'm the type of guyyou're mother warned you about. I'm here today and tomorrow I'll leave town. In the morning you'll find out.
[/blockquote][/blockquote] A brunette teen wandered the vacant school hallways. Earbuds were in his ears, music from his iPod blasting into them. As the song he was listening to ended, Sam McCartney heard someone singing. He raised an eyebrow and pulled out his earbuds. He hung them around his neck and looked to the left, where one of the theater doors was.
Sam opened the door quietly and stepped inside. His blue eyes slowly traveled to Laci. The first thing he thought of was how good looking she was. She was just absolutely beautiful. Next, he realized she was Laci Osment. Thirdly, he realized she was a really good singer and guitar player.
When Laci finished singing, Sam stepped out from the shadows and gave her one of his smiles that often melted girls' hearts. "That was amazing," he told her truthfully as he walked closer toward her.

the small blonde didn't hear anyone enter the theater, so naturally she still assumed she was alone. absorbed in her thoughts she stayed quiet. her sapphire blue eyes looking down at her guitar. she wasn't thinking about anythiubg in particular. just random things. laci jumped slightly when she heard someone speak, because of course she hadn't heard them come in. for a moment panic flooded her body, and then she relaxed again. she had nothing to worry about. so what if they heard her? she was a singer after all, she should be used to it.
laci recognized the boy he was in some of her classes and she saw him around school a lot. sam mccartney, one of the local bad boys. she smiled slightly, her gaze traveling to him. laci brushed some of her blonde hair back out of her pretty face. "thanks" she stated, with a small shrug. "i try." laci said with a laugh, taking her guitar out of her lap and placing it on the stage beside her.

[/blockquote][/blockquote] Sam raised an eyebrow when he saw Laci have a panicked look when he spoke. What was her deal? Why should she be paranoid? He shook off the thoughts and smirked at Laci's response to his compliment. "I'm Sam. Sam McCartney, just in case you didn't know," he told Laci. He leaned against the stage and smirked Most likely she already knew him. Aside form the fact that he had famous parents and two famous siblings, he was famous around the school as a player.
